Synonyms

None.

Diagnosis

Marginal vein not or weakly distorted medially, with strong tuft of black setae medially; frontal suture incomplete and does not reach eyes; head and mesosoma yellowish; fore wing with 13 admarginal setae; setae on mesoscutum short and weak; FM/HM = 1.2. Similar to exilicornis but with flagellum more stout, smaller temples, and shorter female gaster, MM/LG = 0.5-0.7.

Distribution

Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru.

Biology

From galls on Psychotria sp. (Rubiaceae); and from Doliocarpus (Dilleniaceae), presumably from galls on an unidentified plant.
